Guest Blogger: Red Garnier

The Sheeman My special guest today is Red Garnier. Red is a fairly new author but very prolific with releases from Ellora’s Cave, Loose Id and Liquid Silver Books.

In fact I’m reading one of Red’s books at the moment – Stroke of Midnight, the one with the beautiful cover below, which leads me to today’s topic.

Red is discussing covers. Which ones are your favorites? Is there a type of cover you prefer? She’s also giving away a download from her backlist to one lucky commenter. As always, to enter the draw all you need to do is post a comment, and don’t forget to check back in the comment section the following day to see if you’re the winner.

Guest Blogger: Elle James

Alaskan Fantasy My guest today is Elle James, author of tales of murder and suspense for Harlequin Intrigue.

ALASKAN FANTASY is her latest release for the month of December. So hurry before the end of December to grab your copy!

Blurb: Grieving for her dead husband, Stealth Operations Specialist, Kat Sikes, returns home to Alaska to vacation. Instead of relaxing in a cozy cabin, she ends up taking her brother’s position on the Iditarod dogsled race when her brother’s sexy friend is targeted by a crazed killer.

Oil geologist, Sam Russell’s participation in the Iditarod race, becomes a struggle for survival. Together, he and Kat race through the Alaskan landscape dodging bullets while fighting their growing respect and love for each other. Will the frigid cold of the Alaskan trail chill the fiery passion building between them or will the killer succeed in eliminating them from the race?

Today Elle is giving away a copy of Cowboy Sanctuary to one lucky commenter. All you need to do to enter the draw is post a comment. Don’t forget to check back in the comments the following day to see if you’re the winner.

Guest Blogger: Shelli Stevens

Dangerous Grounds My guest today is Shelli Stevens. She writes in a variety of genres for Cobblestone Press and Samhain Publishing. Her upcoming release is called Dangerous Grounds. With the tagline, “Something’s hot in Seattle, and it’s not just the espresso.”, I know I’m looking forward to release day on 1 Jan 2008.

And, I just had to mention this, since it fascinated me when I explored her website earlier – A couple of interesting facts about Shelli you may not know: She’s auditioned for American Idol, and she’s a second degree purple belt in Tae Kwon Do (Though she says she’s currently on a hiatus.)

Today Shelli is talking about crushes. She’s also giving away a download from her backlist to one lucky commenter. As usual all you need to do to go into the draw is post a comment. (Don’t forget to check back the following day to see if you’re a winner.)

Guest Blogger: Lorelei James

Rode Hard Put Up Wet My guest today is Lorelei James who writes hot and spicy contemporary stories for Samhain Publishing.

Lorelei didn’t really have much of a choice about visiting my blog today. In fact I told her I’d stalk her if she didn’t agree to a guest spot. *looking over shoulder* Heck, I might do it anyway because I’m a real fan-girl. My favorites are the western contemporaries with their delicious alpha heroes who know lots of um…interesting things.

Today Lorelei is discussing office Christmas parties, and we’d love to hear about your experiences. There are two downloads up for grabs from Lorelei’s backlist. One will go to a random commenter and the other will go to the person with the best “I wish I wouldn’t have done that/or seen that” office Christmas story.

Don’t forget to check back in the comments section the next day to see if you’re a winner.

I particularly enjoyed her book, The Bond that Ties Us and luckily for me, she has another book from this series arriving in 2008. I can’t wait!

She has a new contemporary romance coming out on 14 December called Chasing Phoenix. Make sure you check it out. It would be the perfect treat for anyone who needs a bit of pre-Christmas relaxation.

Today Christine is talking about the Christmas schedule at the d’Abo house. Is it similar to your routine?

Christine is giving away one download of Chasing Phoenix to a lucky commenter. All you need to do to go into the draw is post a comment and check back on the 14 Dec when Christine will pick her winner.

Guest Blogger: Beth Williamson

Devils on Horseback: NateToday’s guest blogger is Beth Williamson. I’ll admit I’m a new convert to Beth’s books having only discovered them this year, but I’ve turned into a big fan of the Malloy family series after a yearning to read some western historical books led me in her direction. And, I have her Devils on Horseback series to look forward to next, which I’m quietly excited about. Beth’s latest releases are Branded (in e-format) and Devils on Horseback: Nate (print format). Both books are available from Samhain Publishing, and of course you can buy Nate’s story from your favorite bookstore.

Beth is talking about something many of you’ll be familiar with – sons.

And for today’s prize – Everyone who posts a comment will go into the draw to win a download from Shelley’s New Concepts Publishing backlist. (The winner’s name will be announced in the comments section so don’t forget to go back and check to see if you’re a winner)
