Middlemarch Mates – Scarlet Woman on Tour

Middlemarch sign

Since Scarlet Woman is out on tour this week, I’ll be featuring several photos from the real town of Middlemarch in the South Island of New Zealand. This shot is of the sign advertising the town. It’s an agricultural area, hence the sheep. They have wonderful honey, which is delicious, and the air above the Taieri Gorge and hills of the Strath Taieri is home to the rare New Zealand falcon. The train tracks in the front represent the Tairei Gorge railway.

Today I have three stops.

1. I’m visiting Tina Donahue where I’m talking about black cats and superstition.

2. I’m visiting Reading Between the Wines (great title for a blog!)

3. And Books, Books and More Books has a review for Scarlet Woman

Popped in at both. You’ve done such a good job at writing these posts. Short, interesting and engaging. :)

Thanks, Maria. I always think a blog tour is hard work – even harder than writing the book.

Nas, Scarlet Woman is one of my older titles. It’s currently free, if you’d like to grab a copy.

I read the black cats post. I think I forgot to comment. Heading to the others. I also downloaded the free book. Thanks.

Got to check out the posts and go find my dunce cap for not realizing that Middlemarch was an actual place. I do love fiction a bit too much, I suppose lol!

It’s a delightful country town. Of course I embroidered it a bit to suit my series.
