This is a shot of the Everglades in Florida, not far from the Shark Valley Visitor center. I wasn’t sure what to expect of the Everglades, but I wasn’t disappointed. At Shark Valley there were alligators sunning themselves on the track, lots of birds and beautiful clean water. There weren’t many people around since we visited later in the day. The Everglades is nature at its best and what National Parks are all about.

It looks so peaceful and quiet, a natural setting for relaxation :-)

You do need to keep an eye out for alligators. They’re so still sometimes you don’t see them!

Very cool…. when I was in Florida earlier this year, I saw quite a few alligators by the side of the road, but I didn’t get a chance to visit the everglades.

I’ve never been to Florida or the Everglades but I’ve heard it’s really something to see. On top of the alligators I hear there are also Pythons. I think I’ll stay here. lol
