Hubby and I had an interesting and enjoyable time in the Mediterranean and also in Miami. The only hiccup was arriving home three days ahead of one of our bags. At least I had a good excuse not to do the laundry while our bag experienced an extended holiday in Hong Kong. A shout out to the lost luggage department at Auckland Airport. They were fantastic, tracking down our bag and keeping us up to date on progress. I am impressed with their service.
Bella was pleased to see us and seems glad to be home as well, despite the fireworks going off around our house for Guy Fawkes for the last three nights. She takes offence at the noise and rushes outside to bark each time a cracker goes off.
This weekend I’m taking part in a military blog hop, which features books with military heroes. I hope you’ll have a chance to stop by and share in the fun and prizes. This week is a busy one for me, but I’ll be back to the regular schedule on Monday.

This is the third time. I always worry about luggage arriving at the start, but at the end of the holiday it’s not so stressful!

I’ve been away two days doing a training for work. My niece is getting married at my house on Saturday. The next Sat., my writers’ group is hosting a self-publishing workshop and a book signing.*whew* I’m ready for Thanksgiving!
