Do You Fancy a Supernatural Kiss?

Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

~ Grab your current read

~ Open to a random page

~ Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

~ BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

~ Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I’ve just finished reading Supernaturally Kissed by Stacey Kennedy, a paranormal/suspense/romance. Gotta love the genre blends!

The ghost’s tone came a little louder and more abrupt. “Dammit, woman! Will you stop ignoring me? It’s annoying.”

page 9, Supernaturally Kissed

Supernaturally Kissed by Stacey KennedyBlurb:

Ghosts harass and annoy Tess Jennings to save their souls. Sometimes she helps them. Other times she ignores them. But one ghost will give her no choice.

Kipp McGowen, a cop with the Memphis Police Department, will stop at nothing to gain her help, including using his ghostly charms to seduce her.

Tess must help solve the five year old cold case of Hannah Reid, because solving the case will save Kipp. But a bigger problem presents itself. Tess is falling in love with a ghost. Now she must decide. Keep Kipp forever or find the killer…

REVIEW:

Tess Jennings sees ghosts, but she’d rather ignore them totally. Unfortunately for her, the latest ghost is not only male and sexy, but he’s persistent as well. He won’t let her ignore him. Kipp is a former cop who was killed while investigating a cold case, and now he’s determined to solve the case. All he has to do is persuade the reluctant Tess to help him.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s a change to read a paranormal with ghosts and a sexy one at that. The two main characters jumped off the page for me, while the supporting characters were just as interesting. The plot of solving the cold case kept me turning the pages. There’s some naughty ghost sex between the hero and heroine, and the reader is kept wondering if and how the hero and heroine can move forward with their relationship.

If you’re a paranormal fan and feel like reading something different give this one a try. It’s a five star read for me.

Note: This book was provided by the author and Bewitching Book Tours in exchange for an honest review.

  3. I love ghost books but only when they have a happy ending. I can imagine having a ghost yell at you would be distracting but if he is hot then that is a different story! Thanks for stopping by!

Mostly people ignore ghosts, but this made me laugh because the ghost is busy telling the person off and they can hear.

Like the teaser but I have a feeling it would be a bit too much on the romance side for me.

I enjoyed it very much. I haven’t read a ghost romance for ages, mainly because I never like the endings.
