I’ve just started reading The Homecoming by JoAnn Ross, part of the Shelter Bay series.
“Your eyes–which, by the way, are fabulous now that they’re not covered up with those Coke-bottle glasses you wore back in the day, are more amber than brown,” he corrected. “Though they do have an intriguing little rim of mahogany around the iris. That’s certainly a lot of attention to eyes and their color.
I once knew a girl who thought her own boyfriend’s brown eyes were blue. She got them mixed up.
