    We see deer often where we live. They are quite beautiful — until they dart out in front of you at night!

    Jaime – I can imagine that would be scary. We do have deer in New Zealand, but they’re mostly farmed. They’re only wild in a few places.

    Oh, how cute! You always get such great pictures Shelley. I can never get close enough to get a good photo. Something always scares them off. lol

    Nessa – we always love spotting them when we visit the US. We don’t have the range of wild animals that you do. Our only native mammal is a bat and I’ve never seen one of those.

    Nikki-ann – no we don’t either as a rule. I take most of these shots when I’m traveling.

    Becky – I do have a lot of “bum” shots. Most animals don’t their photos being taken.

    Great shot! We have a doe with two fawns in our area, but I have not seen them in a while.
