Contest: Spot the Lie!

Fellow Ellora’s Cave author Tracy Cooper-Posey tagged me with this meme a few days ago. I’m meant to tell you seven things about me, all of them true, except for one.

Tracy and Nina Pierce (the person who picked on Tracy before Tracy picked on me *grin*) both made this meme into a contest and gave away a download of one of their books. Sounds like a great idea to me.

Here are my seven things…

1. A mountain gorilla almost sat on me in Rwanda.

2. A tiger growled and scared me half to death in India.

3. A stingray played with me during a helmet dive in Bora Bora.

4. Our hot air balloon crash landed and my glasses broke in Australia.

5. A baby camel tried to lick me in Egypt.

6. Elephants milled around my tent during the middle of the night in Kenya.

7. Some pygmies took me hunting for dik-dik in Zaire.

Guess which one of the things on the above list is a lie and go into a draw to win a download of one of my Ellora’s Cave or Cerridwen Press books. I’ll draw the winner on Tuesday.

This is so difficult, because you’re an action woman and I’m fully prepared every one of these is true!

    I’ll go for #6.

This was lots of fun, Shelley!

You’re kidding me right? LOL! There’s only one I know for sure because I’ve seen the picture. To say your travels are adventurous is certainly and understatement. So eenie meenie … I pick #7. Great list Shelley.

You have done so much all of it could be true but I can’t see you being afraid of anything so I will say #2. I can see you roaring g right back at the tiger. LOL.

LOL – I had so much fun doing this list. Hubby and I have had some fun adventures. His mother shudders every time we announce we’re going off on holiday.

this is making me crazy that i don’t know the stories behind all of these. I know a few that happened but the rest? Dang woman! LOL!
I’m gonna go with #3 as the lie. Though i could totally see a stingray doing a boogie with you under the water. :P

I’m going with #2 as the lie. I seem to remember reading once that you didn’t get to see a tiger on your trip to India and you were disappointed. I could be wrong though. LOL!

First let me say “WOW!” that even one of those things is true, let alone 6! I thought I was being adventurous by going on a Carribean cruise…LOL
I think that #7 is a lie because it somehow seems the most outlandish of the tales.

Dani – Hmm, you think so? You might be right, but then again, you could be wrong!

Courtney – I’d love to do a Carribean cruise one day soon. It’s on my list of things to do. #7 does sound improbable, doesn’t it?

Sherry – thanks for visiting and taking a guess. You might be right and you might be wrong.
