The Falling Out, Food and Romance

I’ve told you before about the love-hate relationship I have with the little Wii Fit character. Yesterday, I did a weight test, and he scolded me. Here’s how the conversation went:

Him: stand on the wii board. Relax. Measuring. Measuring. Finished.

Me: holding my breath, waiting for the result…

Him: You’ve gained .5 kg.

Me: No!

Him: Why do you think you gained weight, Shelley?

and he gave me a multi-choice list of possible answers. You ate too much. You drank too much. You didn’t exercise. There were a couple of other choices and the final answer was You don’t know.

Me: I don’t know.

Him: Are you sure, Shelley?

Me: We’re gonna fall out if you’re not careful.

Him: Try harder, Shelley and you might make your goal weight.

Yep! The cheek of him. Mr. Wii-Fit Character and I aren’t speaking today. And notice how he had the last word???

I’m guest blogging at Leah Braemel’s blog today about food and romance, both subjects that I really like. Here’s the link to Leah Braemel’s blog.

I’m cracking up, because that is how I get along with my Wii Fit. lol The sad thing is, if you ignore them for a day, you get the “I see you were too busy to work out yesterday, Debra. It is important to blah, blah, blah…” The worse case is when you skip a few days/week, and someone else weighs, the Wii guy asks them if they’ve seen you.

I swear, there is no hiding from it!

This is so funny! You’d think that computer chip was a personal trainer. (well guess he is!) Now that can be bad.

Have seriously debated getting the Wii Fit but I have to say this cracks me up and sounds like the kind of personal trainer that I need!

Jenyfer – he’s so cute that I tend to take his scoldings and mutter to hubby later. Both hubby and I have actually lost weight by using the Wii. It’s especially good during winter when it’s too wet outside to walk or ride our bikes.

Debra – yes, he cracks me up when he asks if anyone has seen you. He also makes me grin when he asks if hubby is looking slimmer these days. In truth, he is.

    Kaye – he’s certainly bossy

Maria – Wii Fit is so much fun. We’ve used ours almost daily since we purchased it. We’ve had ours for about nine months now, and as I said, we’ve both lost a little weight.

That’s just too funny. But I have to admit I would probably start tearing it apart to see if I could make the little wii man scream. :)

That Wii fit guy is really good at loading on the guilt! I’ve felt his wrath a few times myself.

ROFL I’m not sure I could have resisted bashing the machine into tiny bits. You showed amazing restraint.
