Notes on Thinking

I do my very best thinking in the shower. I think about my day. I think about my current work-in-progress and plotting problems. I think about my goals. The only problem with doing my thinking in the shower is that I can’t take notes. By the time I get out of the shower, some of my brilliance is forgotten. So, imagine my excitement when I saw Stepcase Lifehack’s post on Productivity PrOn: 5 Unusually Useful Nightpads and found a mention of some special notebooks.

Here they are — Aqua Notes – the waterproof notepad.

I wonder if they ship to New Zealand because I want some!!

Where do you do your best thinking?

I’m not a shower thinker, so I instantly thought having a notepad in the shower would be a good way to remember that I am out of conditioner for my hair. lol

I think I do my best thinking in the car and while laying in bed trying to go to sleep.

The Aqua Notes looks fantastic! How great to be able to take notes in the shower or tub. I’m all for that.

Mine is while driving. i have a mini recorder I tried to use but by old eyes can no longer see the buttons so I dug out my old tape recorder. I wonder if they still make cassettes?

The aquanotes are cool, because a lot of thoughts and ideas go in your mind when you are in the shower and it is cool to wirite it down a.s.a.p.

Christina – my ironing pile is scary at the moment. I really don’t want to do my thinking that way.

Nessa – I have a voice recorder thingie, but I always forget to use it. I prefer to jot notes rather than speak.

That’s a cool notepad. I think I do my best thinking right before I go to sleep while laying in bed.

I’m a shower and driver thinker. Both make it difficult to take notes. OK, driving is downtright dangerous. I sometimes take a different route because I know there will be more lights! Love the note pad idea for the shower!

I usually do my best thinking in bed right before I go to sleep. I don’t think I could write in the shower.

LOL – I don’t like driving very much. Thinking about writing is the last thing I do while driving.

Linda – I think before I go to bed as well. For me, this isn’t a good thing because my mind gets too busy to think.
