Camera Critters

The Columbia River is a huge river and we spent some time driving beside it, driving over it on the Astoria Bridge (longest bridge in the USA) and looking down on it. No doubt about it, the river is impressive. So is the wildlife. This is a heron fishing in the Columbia River.

Shelley! This picture could have been taken a few miles from me! lol If you ever get a chance to come back, I’ll buy you lunch.

Did you have a chance to check out the lighthouses in the area while you were here?

I’ve just about exhausted my stock of critter pictures. I definitely need to find some time to take more and go through my old photos.

Debra – no, we didn’t get a chance to check out many light houses. We saw a few in the distance. We don’t have many in NZ and hubby and I both find them fascinating.

Beautiful picture. I have to admit I’m a lighthouse nut. I collect lighthouse postcards and I’m always searching to add to my collection.
