This is the present hubby and I received from his mother.

And this is what it contained.
Do you think this is a hint to exercise?

I guess it’s no worse than the sugar free chocolates I was given for Christmas.

um…are you still speaking to her?
I could have done without the pig.

I couldn’t help but chuckle. My husband has been razzed recently for putting on a few pounds (truly, he needed them, he was too thin) and was called “chunky” by his mom just the other night.

Shelley, you are skinny, no worries. Personally I’d find something equally suggestive and random to give her for her birthday, but I’m mean. Hope you had a good Christmas!
HUGS!

Sandra – hubby and I have managed to do the 15 minute workouts. It’s certainly a challenging workout!
Linda – sugar-free chocolates? Ugh! Isn’t chocolate meant to be sinful???

Maria – I had to laugh. She’d wrapped the packages separately and my toddler niece grabbed the package labeled Shelley off me. I let her open it and the pig was inside! Hubby thought it was hysterical and keeps reminding me. That WILL grow old very soon. My MIL probably didn’t even think about it, so yes, I’m still talking to her. She was the one who told us very seriously that hubby shouldn’t let me go to the gym on my own. (Her neighbor’s marriage broke up when the wife met someone at the gym)

Jaime – family know exactly the right buttons to push, don’t they?
Amy W – thanks! I’m not stressing to much, but the package appealed to my funnybone. The Christmas spirit didn’t really make it to our house this year, but we did have a lovely day, spending it with family.

This must be the year of the Wii Fit. I know so many people who got them! But I agree with the rest of your commenters — she should have left out the pig

I think she probably saw them and thought they would make a great gift and never even thought about how it would look to anyone else. I would love for someone to give me a Wii I think a Wii fit would be very helpful in my diet.

Better than a membership to a Health Club and a size 6 Bikini??? Hehehe…..
All kidding aside, my grandson got a Wii for Chrismas and my hubby/I are having as much or more fun than he is…and Boy Am I Sore!!!

Helen – I just laughed. Hubby has claimed it and is busy putting change in it. I’ll take it back once it’s fun!

Sherry – hubby and I LOVE the Wii. We treated ourselves this year when there was a sale and have used it most days since our purchase. It was good all through winter on the days when it rained.

Mitzi – LOL – that’s true!! I remember that sore muscle stage well. It’s also a great incentive when I think I might not feel like exercise for a few days.
