		<description>Sherry - I know that people are able to have exotic pets in the US, but this isn&#039;t the case in New Zealand. The only way a large cat would be roaming around the South Island would be if it escaped from a zoo. If that has happened authorities are keeping very quiet about it! I find the whole situation very fascinating.</description>
