It hasn’t been a good weekend. We had to have our little dog put down yesterday. I keep turning around expecting to see Scotty there. When she’s not, I remember and tear up.
Mr. Munro and I are sad.

Oh, I’m sorry! Had the same experience in June. It was horrid.
I feel your pain.

Oh, Shelley. I am so sorry.
Nothing is more painful than putting your baby to sleep, but you knew it was time and did the right thing.
You gave her a wonderful life. Scotty knew she was loved and protected and she knew her mom and dad were always there for her.
God bless you for saving Scotty and giving her a long, happy life. She’ll wait for you at the Rainbow Bridge.
Hugs
Maria

Oh, how sad. I’m so sorry Shelley. It’s so terrible when we lose a little loved one.
:( Yes, she will wait for you when you cross over. :)
God bless.

Oh Shelley I’m so so sorry and sad to hear about Scotty. My heart is with you. I do understand how it feels to lose a beloved pet.
(Had problems with my computer this week and haven’t been on line for a while, but am catching up now. I’m glad I was here today.)

So sorry to hear this, I know it was probably one of the hardest decisions you’ve ever had to make. Though actually when we made the decision for our little Misty a few years ago, it was a pretty easy decision as she was suffering so badly. Losing a pet is devastating no matter how it happens. My thoughts are with you.

So sorry to hear this, Shelley. I’ve lost so many pets over the years and it never gets easier. You and your husband are in my thoughts.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts. It’s so strange without her around the place. It’s going to take a long time, especially for me because I discussed my plots with her when we walked.

I’m so sorry… I lost my darling dog two years ago this November, and I still tear up when I think of her.
Sending you long distance ((((((hugs))))).

So sorry to hear about your dog. They are such important members of the family. We have a 13 year old lab who is failing and we dread the day we’ll have to make a decision.
Remember the good things.

Words are inadequate-a terrible thing for any writer to admit- at moments like this.
I mourned for our last furry friend for months and can still feel the pain when I see her favourite spot empty.

Sigh – I know it’s going to take quite a while before I stop looking for her. Even vacuuming was horrid today because I of the doggie hair I picked up.

My sympathies to you, Shelley. That’s why I don’t have a dog anymore. It’s just so hard when you lose one, and I can’t take much more grief in my life.
