Amy – we must be in time. It’s a fashion statement. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

Leah – Hubby knows if he complains too often he’ll have to do his own washing. Personally I think he buys socks to trick me. Oh, and he still steals my socks.

Roberta – my husband has mainly black socks but I still manage to mismatch those!

Savannah – he told me off and I laughed. Like Leah says – if he complained too often he’d end up washing his own socks. Even he had to agree that the socks were the same color.

Debra – LOL – that must have been funny. I bet his workmates ribbed him that day.

Christina – that must have been funny with the sandals! I remember my sister-in-law going to work with two different shoes. She told everyone she met. I would have pretended there was nothing wrong, I think.

Hot button topic for me. My hubby does his own laundry because if he had any complaints (which is how it happened) I’d tell him to stick his socks where the sun don’t shine. (though I don’t think his original complaint was about socks, but the response was the same.)

Your hubby’s a grown man – he’s responsible for not noticing when he put them on, I’m spitting mad on your behalf that he tried to shove it onto you. So no sympathy for your hubby from this part of the world.

Funny you should mention this but I actually sent Emma to preschool in unmatched socks today. They’re both from the same set white with pink polka dots, but one is a Monday sock with lt pink dots and one a Tuesday sock with dark pink dots, the heels and toes have the opposite color pink so if you don’t look at the arch where the day of the week is you might think they were opposite on purpose… I hope. Couldn’t find the match to either.

I have to tell you a funny. One of my 13 yo old sons has a black T-shirt. On the front are cartoon figures of ninja monkeys. Underneath the picture it says “Be nice, I’ve got Ninja Monkeys in my pocket.” Very cute on a 13 yo, hilarious when your hubby accidently wears it to work by mistake! lol

I, of course, blamed it on the kids who put it in his pile of clothes…plus he dresses in the middle of the night without paying attention to what he’s wearing. :-)

I haven’t done this in quit a while. Thank God my hubby only wears white socks. I can’t get in trouble with the color just the style of sock. LOL Have a great day.

OMG I’ve so done this! In fact my kids go around in mis matched socks half the time and think nothing of it (I’m not sure what that says about my mothering skills actually!!!) And once I was rushing about doing Xmas shopping in Target and thinking I’d developed an odd limp when I realised I was wearing two different white sandals. Yes, that was very embarrassing!!!
