Mary – I’m busy editing this weekend and today. It’s Monday here in New Zealand. I’m almost finished, thank goodness. Tea For Two has just come out in print so you should be able to find it in High Street bookstores too.

Have I had a good week? Holy catfish! Have you seen my name around these here parts lately? I have been very blessed in winning some books lately. My girlfriends are extremely happy for me, because they know that when “I” win, “they” win.
I just won a book where the author emailed and asked whose name I’d like in the autograph. Wow! That’s a novelty to me. I had to think a long time about it, as I have lots of GREAT girlfriends (and “boy” friends). I decided that a good friend’s daughter-in-law was going to get a surprise soon. She loves that type of book (mystery), so I had her name put in it and will give it to her soon. She has no idea it’s coming. I told her I’d won a book and didn’t know which one to choose. Had she heard of this author? Yes. Had she read this author’s books? Yes. What about THIS particular book? No. Bingo! I ordered THAT book for her.
I feel soooo good when I can (and will) bring a lot of joy into others’ lives. I’m thinking that that is how YOU feel when you have a giveaway with so many interested readers posting on your blogs. Tears are welling up in my eyes as I type this, as I feel blessed to be able to pass this joy along.
I must confess, though, that I will very gingerly read the book before I give it to her — hence the delay until before Christmas. I’m not a Saint!

I especially liked: “Hayley gulped. ‘I am’ she confessed. ‘Your job is done.’”

It always amazes me when one word (gulp) depicts so many things all at once!
