It’s no secret I’ve been in a bit of a funk recently. Last week I attended several online workshops at Romance Divas. Author Sasha White did a workshop on Writer Burnout, which I found both interesting and helpful. She suggested finding another creative outlet and also taking time out between projects. This morning I grabbed my camera and went for a bike ride. I figured I’d take in some sunshine and do something creative as well.
The estuary at full tide.
Spring is in the air with snowdrops
and jonquils out in bloom.
Love is in the air…
I know I’ve talked about winter a lot lately, but the glimpse of spring cheered me up. I love spring. It’s my favorite time of the year.
Which season is your favorite?

Even though I love winter, I think every season has its draws. Spring is lovely, and gives you a new sense of hope. I must say that your walk must take you on a beautiful path. Gorgeous pictures, and the water would be a perfect place to have a picnic.

I like autumn best.

I did feel better after my outing and enjoyed stopping en route to take photos. I did discover that the left hand brake isn’t working on my bike though! That was exciting.

Savannah – I hope you feel better soon too. Migraines are no fun at all.

Definitely spring.
I’m sorry you’ve been in a funk, my friend. I wish you’d dropped me an e-mail. Funks are natural and not to be stressed over; I’d have talked ya through it.

I think you must have about the same climate that we have in southeastern N.C., because the snowdrops and jonquils are the first spring flowers to bloom here, too.

I love the Fall. Where we live in Canada, we have a big big beautiful park (Algonquin Park) and my husband and son and I always go away over thanksgiving weekend to a cottage up there. We go canoeing and hiking and enjoy the leaves all different colours and the crisp bite to the air.
