Hi! It’s me again. I’m home again after a very relaxing holiday in Western Samoa. I hope you’ve enjoyed the photos. They were actually from my last holiday in Samoa. Good thinking on my part because the Internet connection at Aggie Grey’s Resort wasn’t the best. I have lots of new photos (because we did some more sightseeing this trip) and will load them in my website photo album very soon.
While we were at the resort there were lots of people setting up for the shooting of a new Survivor show. I’ve never watched Survivor before, but I think I might make an exception for Survivor Samoa. Have any of you watched Survivor before? Did you enjoy it?
Christina Phillips and I are over at the Coffee Time forum this month. We’re doing a round Robin-type story called Red Wolverton Howling. It’s a paranormal Space Opera featuring Django (our hero) and Carrie Holland (our intrepid heroine). Here’s the intro paragraph.
I’ve just read through all the posts to catch up on the story, and it’s a real hoot. I hope you’ll come over to the Coffee Time forum to join us and maybe add to the story. Readers, aspiring writers and published writers are all welcome! Christina has left the story with one of the characters doing a pole dance, and I’m off to add to the story.

Thanks, Christina. It’s sort of good to be home again, although I hate all the laundry. That the worst part about coming home from a holiday.

Welcome back. Glad you had a good time. As to Survivor…I’m amazed that show still lives. I lasted all of about three minutes on my one and only attempt to watch it.

Welcome home! I enjoyed your pictures, and will have to check out the new ones.
Yep, I’ve watched Survivor. The first couple shows were fascinating and interesting to watch the “game play” but after that they all started to repeat themselves, and now, if you’ve seen one survivor…you’ve seen them all.

Welcome back, Shelley – I loved the posts you left while you were away. Very clever.
I’m with Jory and Debra about Survivor. Watched the first couple, then they all became the same.

I’ve definitely steered clear of Survivor, but this one will be interesting because I watched them run around and do some of the preparation things. They’ve also booked the entire resort so it’s big money for the area.
I’m glad you enjoyed my daily photos.

Amy W told me I never renew the photos on my website so I’m on a mission to prove her wrong.

I hadn’t heard that the next Survivor was going to be in Samoa, but that’s awesome that you got to see the setup. I’m jealous!! I have been a Survivor fan from Season 1 episode one. Each season has similarities and differences. The basics are the same: the tribe splits, the alliances, and good and bad characters; but each season is different. The challenges are different (I can only think of about 2 or 3 that have been repeated over the 18 seasons) and it’s neat to see how people react to being stranded in the wilderness with people they don’t know. You vote people out, but they have to vote for you to win, so it’s an interesting dynamic. You’d also think people who know they are going on the show would prepare by practicing with flint to make fire, but they rarely do.

Lisa – I know the locals are excited about the show coming to Samoa. From the sounds of it things don’t start proper until June. I’ll definitely be checking out the show when it makes screens down here in NZ.
Amy – it was a great holiday. Hubby and I really enjoyed it.
