Karen - LOL cats are like that.
Our little dog is very old now. She has what we call senior moments when she goes to the wrong house after our walk or she stops to sniff at something and gets turned around and goes the wrong way. She panics because she can't see us and starts to run home. Luckily I had my running shoes on the other night because I had to move to catch up with her!!

Jory - my father loves Country music and we had a lot of Country records when we were growing up. I graduated to rock and pop and never looked back. I hated Country.

My husband must have music or sound (my chatter isn't enough to distract him ) when we're driving and most of the stations seemed to be Country. Neither of us were fans but we ended up listening to a lot. Secretly I started to enjoy some of the music and nearly fell over when hubby suggested I take note of some of the song titles and get them on itunes when we arrived home.

We don't have a Country music station in NZ, although we recently subscribed to Sky (NZ version of cable). They have digital stations and I listen to the country station of that. It's continous music with no ads. I think it's Australian because sometimes I hear The Pub with No Beer. Country music is big over in Aussie.

I need to find a good online station because my one complaint is that I don't hear many new releases.

Leah - our little dog is very smart, although I have to say not all dogs are smart. My brother used to own a Dalmatian. It was a lovely dog but it was very thick!!

LA - thank you!!

My dog never looks at me like I'm stupid, he joins in on the stupidity. LOL But my cats stare at me like I've lost my mind most of the time...

I'm curious, is your country music imported from the USA? Or is it a similar but different down-under style?

PS: Good luck escaping the phase. I entered it about twelve or thirteen years ago and have only just recently started listening to rock again, in addition to the country of course. Country music is all about the story, highly addicting to authors.

My dog used to have expressions like that. And it would tick me off when people say I was anthropomorphizing (or however that's spelled.) This is a dog who was smart enough to give her second favorite toy to another dog so she wouldn't have to share her favorite ball.
