Congratulations on both the book and your birthday. I don’t really mind birthdays. But then again, I don’t look forward to them like I used to when I was younger. As long as my mum bakes me my usual chocolate cake, then I find that I’m a pretty happy birthday girl LOL.

Turning 40 was awesome, I’d just become a mother for the first time, turning 50 was party, party, party all week long! I hope your hubby has taken the hint for your pressie!

I don’t mind birthdays as much as I thought I would even now that I’ve reached THAT age.
Maybe it’s because I’m not as decrepit as I thought I would be. Or maybe I am, and I just don’t know it.
