I mentioned in my post yesterday about how I wear my iPod while walking the dog. It helps pass the time. I love music and have a selection of both New Zealand and Overseas artists playing on mine.
Here’s a mini selection:
One Day by OpShop
Maybe Tomorrow by GoldenHorse
Wandering Eye by Fat Freddy’s Drop
Stand Up by The Feelers
The above are all NZ bands.
Angels by Robbie Williams
Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis
Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top
In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins
Wherever You Will Go by The Calling
Rehab by Amy Winehouse
Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi
Of course I have loads of others, but these are my current favorites. What’s playing on your iPod at the moment?

I’m probably the only person in the universe that doesn’t have an iPOD.

I bought new music and need to put it on my MP3 player (Yes, I’m bucking the trends and not going Apple).
Drop me an e-mail; if your National Park adventures coincide with mine (or you’re doing something like going to Gettysburg), we should hook up!

Hmm that makes three of us – I don’t have an iPod either. I have a variety of songs on my MP3 player – pretty much anything by Josh Groban, Loreena McKennitt (Canadian Celtic singer), Enya (early days, not her new age later cr*p) … but you know, I rarely listen to it any more so I’ve forgotten what else is on it.

Sandra – I haven’t had an iPod for long. It’s a new toy for me.
Susan – nothing wrong with bucking trends. I’ll email you – we’re mainly on the West Coast this trip.
Leah – you sound like my hubby. He’s not keen on the new age later cr*p either.

I’ve not heard of most of your favorites, but about 3.
I have Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Constantine Maroulis, Kellie Pickler, Kelly Clarkson, Bo Bice, and a bunch of moldy oldies from the 60s on mine (Beatles, Frankie Valley & 4 Seasons, 4 Tops, Supremes, etc.)

Ashley – LOL – I think due to iTunes and places like this moldy oldies often make a comeback. The “if you bought this, you might like this” feature is great. It means some of the older stuff gets a viewing and today’s youngsters don’t even realize.

On my brand spanking new G3 iPhone *ahem*
, I have Rhianna’s Take a Bow, some very hot Canadian bands (Hedley, Simple Plan), a bit of Kanye, Alicia Key’s latest (the name escapes me but I can sing you a few bars…) and, though this clearly doesn’t fit with the rest of the songs, the soundtrack from The Red Violin. Joshua Bell on violin is simply soul-stirring.

Now that’s the second time you’ve mentioned your phone. Show off
I know Rhianna but not the others you mentioned. IMO it doesn’t matter if the music fits together – you just have to enjoy it.
