Dentist and Indianapolis 500.

On the surface a dentist has nothing to do with the Indianapolis 500, however both things happened to New Zealanders over the weekend. I ate a chocolate and broke a filling (if there’s a moral in there I don’t want to know!) and Scott Dixon won the Indianapolis 500. I’m now booked in for a long overdue dentist visit while Scott Dixon is a few million dollars richer.

Here’s the link for the story on Scott Dixon’s win. We’re all very proud of him.

I’m also blogging over at the Danger Zone today. My post is on extreme sports.

It was probably a piece of celery or carrot that LOOSENED the tooth, and the chocolate just had the bad luck of dislodging it.
    It’s definitely a wrong-place/wrong-time thing.
The chocolate can NOT be held accountable. It’s completely blameless.

I agree with Wylie. Chocolate is never the villain, always the hero.

    No, don’t blame the chocolate!

Yes, I tend to agree with Wylie. The chocolate was innocent in this attack.

    Blame the roughage. LOL!

Well, there were nuts in this particular piece of chocolate. That has to be it!

Yes it was definitely the nut that did it, Shelley! Ouchy on the dentist visit, hope your tooth doesn’t hurt too much!
