What Type of Writer are You?

I’ve been hiding in the writing cave today working on the next Middlemarch story. Some days the words come really slowly. It was one of those days. While I get back to my writing, attempting to make my day’s target, I’ll leave you with this quiz. What type of writer should you be?

You Should Be a Film Writer

You don’t just create compelling stories, you see them as clearly as a movie in your mind.
You have a knack for details and dialogue. You can really make a character come to life.
Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling.
And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen!

  1. I got the same answer!

and I love your yummy man cover!!

  2. Lol, I can’t take that test because none of the options of the first two questions really works for me. There’s no space for epic historical fiction or Fantasy with a bittersweet end.

  3. Good luck with your writing, Shelley! I hope it’s going better than mine is today.

  4. Thanks, Christina. I’m really pleased with my cover.

  5. LOL Gabriele. You know you can design your own quizzes, right?

Christine - there must be something in the air. Progress is slow but I have words, which can’t be bad.

  6. I can’t go to blogthings or I’ll never get anything else done!!!

I have taken that test before though and I too should be a film writer. Maybe I’ll have to come to Auckland so we can play…I mean collaborate :)

  7. I’m a film writer too!

  8. Good luck with writing that’s where I am in the cave lurking.
