I made use of the fact that it’s not raining here for a change, drove around in the surroundings in search of interesting places to see and photograph (I’m close to the ex-GDR and they stilll have to do some restoration of old buildings, but it gets better every year) and did some hiking.

I’m reading the Eagle series by Jack Whyte, and Rebecca Gablé’s third book in the Waringham trilogy (Spiel der Könige).

i loved Bound by Sasha - but then she's one of my auto buys. i don't even bother to read the back covers of her books, they just automatically get picked up and purchased. There's like a dozen authors I do that with, because you KNOW whatever they create is going to be awesome.

With our move we had to give up our tank for the BBQ. The movers won't touch it for safety reasons. This will give us an excuse to look at new BBQs in the spring...

Good luck on the novella. Why are they harder to write than novels??

The perfect barbecue, ahhh. Men. LOL
And goodluck on the novella, Shelley. As for reading, grrr, I've not been able to read much and it makes me a wee bit angry. But I will soon...hopefully.

Amy R - hope you get better soon! I think I'd rather be in spring than fall. I need to thaw out

Amy G - well, you would side with Mr. Munro, wouldn't you?
Actually, I'm pretty lucky. Mr. Munro loves cooking, says it helps him wind down after a stressful day at work. I'm quite happy to be sous chef!

Shame on you!
Mr Munro's interest in barbeques should be actively fostered...along with the intricacies of preparing salads, side dishes, cleaning up afterwards. The exercise of a few feminine wiles now could be repaid with many hassle free meals in the future, where some judicious praise will reinforce good habits.
Always look to the future at these moments!
Amy.
(My smile is a little broader for the thought)
