Mr. Munro has been running amuck and creating chaos since he’s been home. While we were in Hawaii we visited Del Sol, a shop that sells T-shirts, sunglasses, jewelry and other similar things. When you walk outside into the sunlight the products change color. I have several canvas bags that do this and am now the proud owner of a turtle T-shirt as well. Mr. Munro noticed the nail polish and we purchased a couple of bottles. Long story - but nail polish on toenails is a travel ritual of sorts after an overland trip we did.
Anyway, since we’ve been home he’s been approaching family and friends asking if they’d like to see a magic trick. He then paints their fingernails with what looks like an almost colorless silver liquid. Harmless enough until they walk outside. The sun makes their fingernails change to a bright pink - looks like they’ve dipped their fingers into a particularly bright sunset.
He did it to my father on Saturday and yesterday when he went on a golf trip, he painted the fingernails of his fifty fellow golfers. It was pouring with rain at the time but when they went out on the golf course all was revealed. Golfers with bright pink fingernails.
He’s off to work today, armed with his magic trick. This will be good - tough pest control technicians with bright pink fingernails! Hopefully they won’t hit him…
Has anyone done anything exciting for the weekend?
